User Controlled CSS

Reply with quote Many XStandard users use the same CSS file for content authoring and for their Web site. This can create an accessibility issue. Many Web sites use a combination of text size and color that is pretty to the eye but present challenges when using these settings during the content authoring process.

A proposed feature is to give content authors the ability to select a different CSS (“Document Style”) or even turn off CSS while they are authoring content. The options might be:

Code:
Document Style
     > No Style
     > Default
     > High Contrast

Besides “High Contrast”, what other types of CSS themes might be useful?

Reply with quote Hey Vlad. How about;
  1. Layouts with different widths. 100%, fixed, etc.
  2. Some type of light styling for people with slower connections. Still a nice style, but with less of the accent images
  3. A style with a easy to read font.

If I think of more, I’ll let you know.

Cheers!

Reply with quote Does anyone think a JavaScript button to disable CSS would be useful to any group of users? A little like text only or low graphics version?
