An accessible date picker calendar?

Reply with quote Odd how things work out.
A few weeks ago we were talking about a date picker calendar.

This week I had to write an accessible one quickly (12hrs) for the intranet.
Here's the result with the usual request for testing and comments:
Accessible date picker calendar

I'm unsure about the placement of a form inside a noscript element.
Any ideas if this is semantically acceptable?
I'll test it next week with a Jaws user and see what happens

Sorry for the brevity, I'm now completely exhausted.

Reply with quote Cheers Andy,

Can't believe I forgot scope - doh.
A b tag too? now that's just too slack.

I think the use of abbr on such a table is supeflous.
Especially given full titles on each date link.
No one I know uses it - ever.

I've also removed the escape characters.
They were needed for validation but not now it's in a separate file.

The align="center" on the table is there for a purpose.
Generally I strip as much out of the table attributes as possible.

There seems to be an issue with the method used to hide the skip links in IE too. It comes to something when I load IE just to do testing.
Any ideas anyone?
<edit>Sorted - Line-height was required</edit>

Thanks for taking the time Andy, scripts and site have been updated.
