What do you mean 100 years ago? I'm 30 this year (sob), and in my first year of school I was taught to write right handed ( ruler on the hand if I tried left handed).

My wife, 5yrs & 2 weeks younger than me, had exactly the same problem, me, in school from 1959 had no such problem. Must be the East Midlands are more tolerant of the more gifted

Well, I'm 25 and left handed and didn't have any problems at school apart from being forced to write with a fountain pen (and copious amounts of blotting paper). They even gave me left handed scissors.
Mind you, this is getting a bit OT.

To reel it back in, anyone know of any websites that discriminate against those that are 'differently handed'?
