PDFs breaching the DDA

| That's exactly the problem. After a long discussion about when you should and shouldn't use PDFs on the publicsectorforums website, one local authority manager posted a link to Joe's article on ALA, simply saying "See, PDFs are accessible". |
Correction: this l.a.w.m. posted a link saying 'here is an alternative point of view' to an article which declares PDF to be inherantly inaccessible (which it is manifestly not). There had been no discussion at all on PSF at the time I posted the link.
Thank you.
I just went back to the original thread on PSF.
Sorry Nigel, I completely got that ar*e about face. My only excuse is it was about 10 days ago and I got mixed up. I'll be sure to check properly next time. My apologies (and public embarrassment).

No problemo.

| Adobe Acrobat has the features to build accessible PDFs. Adobe acknowledge that these options are hidden. But education as well as bringing these features closer to the spotlight will remedy this issue.
