Reply with quote Is anyone here attending Internet World?

I'm heading up, but don't know which day, if anyone else were attending and fancied grabbing a beer then shout.

Reply with quote Last year I was pleasantly surprised how good this was especially the search stuff more so than the accessibility that was sadly rather uninformative. I am not sure if I am going yet (Ben are you?).

On the application form don't you hate these questions that try and trick you into signing up for stuff you don't want. It is bad usability so why do they do it?

To get more people to sign up!

Given that it's intentional, I'm not sure I would class it as bad usability, but that's a whole other discussion...

Reply with quote As it's free entry I could go to this. Would be nice to travel their with other Accessifiers since I'm pretty useless at wayfinding outside of cyberspace. Embarassed

Really?
Code:

Really?
Code:
        <table width="100%" border="0">

            <td width="49%" valign="middle" class="midbut"><a href="/web-2-0.html">Web 2.0</a></td>

Well, I guess it is proportionately fluid... Shouldn't judge an event by it's organiser's website anyway. Smile

Reply with quote Well I was planning to head up either on the 1st or 2nd (the last day tends to be a bit of a wind down).

Should be an interesting event - might even cause confusion by asking the various CMS sales reps whether their systems are follow ATAG.

Reply with quote Annoyingly and inexplicably, their registration form automatically capitalises the first "s" in "sdesign1". It also capitalises the whole of "Fleet". Confused

Anyway, I'm now registered. Why do they need financial predictions to issue me with a badge? Grrr.

I don't know which day I'll go. Probably the same day Johan does so we can travel there together. Then I can follow him around like a bad smell to avoid getting lost. Smile

Any ideas which things are going to be worth seeing?

Reply with quote Think we are going on the 2nd Wednesday... it does not matter what you sign up for on the application form, you can register on the day too.
