Perfect. Why didn't I think of that.
Actually very close to. But electrolosys would still be more sensible than trying to turn the the water into plasma. Boiling would just make steam.

Thus saving the planet by boiling the human element off the face of the Earth.

the trouble will be that it will include all land life and most aquatic
( the really deep sea creatures might survive )
the planet will exist unless something like these happen

life on earth is a bit more fragile
Hypothermophilic bacteria would be just fine. A lot of sulphur eating freaks not that deep in the oceans would also be just cozy as long as you don't boil the lot. Although that really was never my plan
I don't mind life. Human or otherwise. I vote we keep it.
They were interesting links though. It would take a weeks worth of solar energetic output or 2 1/2 trillion tonnes of antimatter to annihilate the earth? Wow. Thats a lot of energy.
I'm just talking terra Watts. Nothing silly.

29) Open Source Independent Financial Services (OSIFS
)
Phil halfbaked ecomic idea # 78972:
A category of financial service with a common SLA, which states that all the details of the financial service provider's investments are accessible to the users of the service. The benefit, is that when something like the Subprimes crash raises its ugly head, the problem is currently turned into a much bigger global problem due to mistrust and suspicion amongst financial service providers. They all worry that their debtors and/or creditors are in same schtuck. Their paranoia leads to credit crunches and interest rate worries and so on... An open service provider (which in turn would be more likely to use OSIFS for the borrowing and investments, so its users could see their investments and so on) would not be as susceptible to the these concerns as the other OSIFS and users could see whether or not they are involved with the sticky issue of the day.
Individual users get peace of mind too, re 'sticky issues', morally dubious investments etc...
The lack of paranoia, leading to greater long term stability would lead to better rates, and more customers... Whilst making morally dubious investments and recessions less common.
