Childhood memories..
What kind of things do you remember from your childhood??
Things like:
1. Spangles.
2. Scooters with yellow wheels.
3. Crisp packets with little blue packets of salt in them.
4. Rubbing your younger brother's nose in a dead bird's body (just kidding...honest!)
Get the picture? What has vanished from our lives, possibly foreever??
Cheers!

TV: Bagpuss, the Wombles. Battle of the Planets.
Snacks: Opal Fruits, Marathons. The wide variety of crisp manufacturers and small variety of flavours. Do you want salt & vinegar, cheese and onion, or plain?
Transport: cars without rear seat belts. People smoking on top of buses (for that matter, people smoking in the cinema).

Recently i remembered me of a schoolmate from my earliest school years. He was the hero of our school, because he was the only one who could piss from the floor to the ceiling. No joke
I have Battle of the Planets (aka G-force aka something else Spanish to my Puertorican Mrs) on DVD. Watch it with my daughter at every possible opportunity. Best kid's animation ever. And a great theme tune! (and I can't be the only one to think Princess was kinda cute
)
A usual response to this question is "white dog dirt". It was everywhere in the 70s.
Well I've come to the conclution that its some kind of reaction to the proximity of children, as the first time I saw it again after what must have been quarter of a century, was outside my daughter's school!
I have pictures some where if you want?

Aaaahhhh...but I remember when they weren't actually packets - just little twists of blue paper!
Commodore!!! Wrote my very first program (a simple general knowledge quiz) on one of those!
Fireball XL5
Supercar
Pneumatic type of gun that fired ping pong balls
Spud (potato) guns
Sherbert dabs
Johnny 7 gun
Man from UNCLE gun (with telescopic clip-on sight - as the song by Jimmy Nail mentions)
....hmmm...seems I had quite a violent childhood!

I've just moved house and in the process rediscovered the mouse to my Spectrum 128K +2! Oh yes. I once built a 3d scanner using it and some Lego.
Wgich is a point. Lego! But thats still around.
My Sinclair ZX81 has, and will always have, pride of place on my desk
Never had a Commodore.
I spent most of my childhood making stuff with Lego and, unrelatedly, with Grand Theft Auto. Made my first website in 1998 with a friend from school. I was about 12 or 13, so I guess that counts!
(I'll thinking of mirroring Cerbera's GTA Website!! myself so it won't disappear.)

I feel very old, here.
