And , BTW, I still agree with Jack...the 'gobsmacked' one should stay in!

| Thank you ever so much for the eyebrow-less smiley—kawaii! |

| I really like the "innocent" look: it helps to clarify that you're smiling to convey a gentler tone, not because you find what you're saying hilarious. On a medium like this, polite smileys can make a real difference. |

If we keep the old filenames, the new smilies will replace the old ones automatically. The databases won't need any changes; it's a simple FTP transfer.

| To be totally honest and considering that I raised the issue in the first place - I really couldn't care less any more. |
The smileys are great... and I'd vote yes to going with them now too.

| Who'd have thought transferring a dozen images would be so difficult? Evidently "next few days" means "more than a month" in the world of Nigel Peck! |
Evidently it does. Haven't you got anything better to do Ben?

| This developer group is going to happen. My life is much more stable now than it has been for a long while and I am able to commit to seeing this through. I want to see the forum continue, grow and improve.

All the demos I donated for free, all the considered ideas and feedback people gave about the "new version of Accessify Forum"? More than half a year later, we are using the same old thing.

| Nigel, I reckon you could have uploaded them in a similar amount of time to writing that dismissive reply. There are many other things I put time into for free. I have started on the redevelopment in the last few days, and some changes will be going live in the next few days. There will be an announcement about this. I mentioned one change a few minutes before you made this post.
I put my time in for free too, and unlike you have 5 kids and a mortgage. I'm not made of money, and some of it goes to pay for first class hosting for this forum. This forum does not generate any income at all, the fishing tackle site is my Dad's company that I link to to help him out a little.
I have had to spend a lot of time on projects recently, to try and get money together for the mortgage, which I am still working on. I got to a point with my paid work on Friday where I could spend some time on the forum over the weekend (before the next big paid project starts on Monday), which is what I'm doing.
Personally I have trouble switching from one programming project to another and like to take them one at a time. That's a limitation on my part.
I appreciate the work you have done, but please don't do any more. I've completely had enough of you personally and don't wish to have any further involvement with you. It's good to have you as a member of the forum, but I don't enjoy working on stuff with you I'm afraid, and since I'm doing this for free, I'd rather enjoy it.
You really need to climb down from your incredibly high horse and try to just get along with people, instead of preaching constantly and refusing to try and understand or compromise. But that's just my opinion, because your way isn't for me. It's your life and you should feel free to live it how you want, but I personally don't want anything to do with you.
People on this forum do benefit from your advice, and I hope you'll stay around, but please do us both a favour and keep you nose out of the redevelopment.

I've decided not to ask for a favour.
Ben, you are now banned from posting in forum 10.
Please be clear, your posts are very welcome in the other forums, but any posts made to forum 10 will be deleted, as I'd rather just get on with it without your involvement.
(Please excuse me calling it forum 10 but I did not want to write a sentence that sounded like you were banned from posting in Accessify Forum, where your dedication to helping with web accessibility is exemplary.)
You'll just have to flame me somewhere else from now on!
