Ask your local dealer. If anyone would know, it'd be them. They're in the business.
If that fails check out the following search engine results:

Hi Jack... I am new to this forum and found your thread. Have you found what you are looking for? Sorry I have no idea with how to get sport wheelchair in USA. But talk about the types of sport wheelchair, I just googled for you and found that the types of these special wheelchairs will depend on the sport itself. There are wheelchair for racing, basketball, tennis, and even rugby. Which one will you take?
Hope this helps and good luck.

Many apologies for the late response to this thread, but I too was looking for a sporty wheelchair. I don't have a physical disability of any sort, but my friend Marissa does. She is a paraplegic that uses a wheelchair to get around. Despite her disability, however, she's been wanting to play sports. If she could find a sports wheelchair of some sort, that would be super awesome! Speaking of disabilities and wheelchairs, does anyone know where one can find a wheelchair van or disability vehicle? I've been looking into stuff with the braun corporation. Anyone have any experience with them? Found em' online. Thanks, folks!

Your best bet would not be to get her a wheelchair, but to get her involved with a program for wheelchair sports. It is NEVER a good idea to spend a ton of money (they are unbelievably expensive) before you know anything about what you are buying. A good adaptive sports program will have many different sizes and types of chairs available and she'll be able to use them and determine what works and doesn't work for her. Don't just go out and get her a chair before she knows what she wants and needs, and she won't know that until she has tried several in many different settings. Hope that helps!
I must agree with "immeemz." The choices are many and each are specially designed with the sport in mind. They are usually solid (not foldable) and will not be used for everyday life. Thus, you want to make sure which sport you're going to "dedicate" most of your time in.
With carbon fiber and titanium materials being used, we're talking in the range of $1000 -$11,000 (for extremely specialized ones, of course).
If you need more help from this forum I would suggest you be as specific as possible regarding the sport.

Hi I just want everybody to read this. Cyclone is a company apparently making wheelchairs, their website looks nice, the people are eage to get you to buy but AVOID! I purchased my first chair post accident from cyclone, it wasnt measured properly. Stupidly I went back to the recently to pirchase my second chair. They appear friendly and helpful at first however the price of the chair soon went up, about 70% more than I was lead to believe. I was told 6 weeks waiting time, that was 3months ago! I sent several emails asking for a date or reason for delay, ever time I was fobbed off with a patronising response and never given a date!. I've been to told 2weeks from now... Likely story. Now they are blatently ignoring my emails! I've sent 2 more emails in the last 2weeks complaining about their poor customer service and lack of professionalism .. Well no reply to either email! Disgusting attitude, like i said they will happily take your money, I almost feel like I am here to help them out rather than the other way around! I will NOT be using Cyclone ever again ( i had been warned not to use them) I wish I could get my money back instead!... DO NOT BUY A WHEELCHAIR FROM THESE COWBOYS!!
Hey "Jack", you can take the help of a business dealer who is dealing in these kinds of products. On the other hand, you can also ask to your near ones who are having the experience in these kinds of products.
