a little rant about alt attribute
I've been reading SEO articles and have noticed that many so called professionals are making the recommendation to put keywords (as opposed to relevant wording) as the alt attributes on images.
~sigh~
~sigh~
Why does that 'uphill struggle' seem to get steeper and steeper every bloody week?
From what I understand, the Alt tag is for people that choose not to load images via their browser settings (if they want to speed up the download of the webpage, for example).
So, the Alt tag should have words describing your image, which should be related to your topic/ keyword anyway, right?
Again, it's all about making your webpage user friendly.
