Do you work freelance or for an employer, vote now. Edited for clarity: In other words who do you work directly for.

No multiple choice!? I'm public sector and freelance, but the former is the 9-5 one so I've voted for that.

- Freelance
- Public Sector
- Private web/media agency
This forum only allows upto 5 voting options no more and no multiple choice. Choose the best fit. I work for media design agency 9-5 (but yeah have done other work on the side).Obviously if you work freelance or for an agency it means you will do private and public sector websites but you will not be working directly for them.
I wish I could change unemployed to multiple sectors (If admin can please do).

When I click "Edit" for your 1st message, all the poll controls are below the normal topic controls. Are they present for you? I didn't bother with the Update buttons, just clicked Submit at the bottom.
I've made a few tweaks to match what you seem to be asking. You are asking who they are employed by rather than the type(s) of website they work on? Since nobody had voted for "Unemployed" I have changed that to "Multiple sectors", as you requested.
Although I am employed by a school, it's for very few hours over a year. I work for more than one web design agency and sometimes do work directly for yet more clients. I even contributed HTML research to W3C under a grant from Mozilla Foundation for a while. So, overall, Freelance/Self-employed is the best fit for what I do...because it's so varied.

Thanks Ben, other than you so far I am the only web agency monkey.
No I don't get the poll option after the first replay... I presumed admin would.

I may be paralyzed from the waist down, but my mind is TOTALLY still with it. My job is to write content and I love it. ^___^
I assist with editing and approving blog articles for a highly reputable website. I think the only issue I've encountered is finding parking for wheelchair vehicles! LOL. Aside from that, my disability (thankfully) doesn't get in the way of my job. =)

As a freelance web designer with paralysis from the waist-down, I sometimes find myself thinking it is an advantage. Most of my colleagues get stressed and cramped from sitting for long periods of time, but I am not phased. It also allows me to attempt to design websites and applications with the disabled user in mind. [/code]
