Speed of AT upgrade
Hey all, it’s been a while.
I was wondering - is there any public data on upgrade rates for assistive tech + software?

The only data I've seen is WebAIM's survey question about upgrade times. Bear in mind that is what people say they did, as part of a much much longer questionnaire.
It stands to reason that their respondents are particularly technological users. Their keener than average interest in technology was so strong it gave them the desire to fill in a long survey about it!
So that won't be a 100% accurate reflection of how frequently they actually upgraded, nor will it reflect the full range of AT users. The average is probably less frequent.
