Braille Embosser
I have installed the Duxbury Braille Translator software that is to output Braille through an Index V4 Basic-D embosser. But as soon as the embosser is switched ‘ON’ and the Braille paper is inserted, it starts embossing something even if it is not connected to the computer. What could be the reason for this garbage embossing? Also there is something wrong with Duxbury which I think cannot be the reason for the embosser behaving in this manner. The thing with Duxbury is that when I select the ‘Add-Ins’ menu (MS Word 2007) and click on the ‘Duxbury Braille’ option, I get an error message which says ‘Error 5, Invalid procedure call or argument If problem persists, contact your technical support, giving the error number, error description, and the steps taken to replicate this error’
