Dragon Naturally Speaking and Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Hi
Does anyone here have any experience using Dragon Naturally Speaking with Dynamics CRM 4? Are they compatible? I've searched high & low but don't seem to be able to find any answers.

Hi Cormac,
No personal experience I'm afraid.
I've put out a help request on Twitter for you - hopefully, that should produce some answers.

Well, this topic is pretty old, but I just want to answer it in case someone else is wondering the same.
Dragon Naturally Speaking allows you to enter text and control the application menus for nearly any Windows-based application. A friend of mine was wondering the same so before buying Dragon he asked this same question. You have a live chat if you go to their page. So, the answer they gave him was that there was not a compatibility problem. Hope it helps.

Have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for about six months now, I am totally amazed by its capabilities and its high level of accuracy. You don't have to be disabled to use Dragon, it enters text around 100 times faster than most people normally type and you don't have to worry about spelling mistakes!
The only thing I will say is that you need to have a good microphone, preferably a head piece microphone that sits near to your mouth, best advice I have received is that you should talk as if you were a newsreader, don't talk slowly, just talk naturally and try to talk in one complete sentence.
You will however need to speak punctuation each time you want to place a comma or fullstop etc, as with all things practice makes perfect but well worth purchasing.
All of this is being written using Dragon NaturallySpeaking and I have made about 3 mistake.
YouTube offers a great demonstration of this and can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHg5txXOOkY
Would love to hear about the experiences of other Dragon users.

Thanks for the youtube link. That was pretty cool to see in action. How long did it take for you to get used to speaking all the commands commands instead of using your mouse?

Hi Plumber
I was very surprised at how quick I picked in all up, some words are a bit tricky but after you correct them the programme remembers it and gets it right next time, the art is to speak at a normal pace, don't over emphasise words and try to say a complete sentence at a time. Also make sure you get a good mic, the Plantronics bluetooth supplied mic is best and make sure at the setup you choose your country otherwise words like "emphasise" will be emphasize if non UK selected.
On day one I did a test saying Peter Piper picked a pint of pickled peppers etc and it was spot on, it doesn’t understand swearing though lol
