hehe,
Yeah, don't beat around the bush, just say what you really mean!

Here's link that to bugzilla which to my mind further calls into question the accessibility of Flash and the like:

Also, the opening of the article seems to convey the wrong end of the stick to me, so I've written them a quick message.

Well, I've noticed that two letters in reply to this article on "spiked" posted the same day as mine have gotten onto their Letters page.

They obviously didn't "like my tone"! Twisted Evil

<edit>Having just read through the letters about the article, those posted have disagreed with the article in general (i.e. Accessibility Stifles Innovation), while my letter to them pointed that out as well as saying that the article gets it all wrong about the legislation in the first place!</edit>
Reply with quote Read your Blog Tommy - well said. I guess I am a John turning into a Mary..... course as a John I was not really good so Mary is all that is left....... guess I am a transvestite? Very Happy

Reply with quote @dotjay - the top letter on the page in mine *snicker* is that good or bad?

Course being in Germany I can hardley argue with the facts of the legislation as you can.

Reply with quote Thanks, mate. I see you're going through something of an identity crisis at the moment. I'll stick with 'Kyle' until you've made up your mind. Laughing

Those were extreme examples, of course, but some exaggeration is often necessary in order to make a point.

Reply with quote Jesus is this thread still going? If I wrote an article saying that hygiene legislation stifles the work of professional chefs, I wonder if I'd get the same sort of response Wink

Reply with quote Having read Wendy Chisholm's recent article published on Digital Web I thought it was worth posting here, even at the risk of dredging up the old thread:
Innovative Design Inspired by Accessibility

Another site that she links to which I found interesting too:
A History of Technology Advances Inspired by Disability
