My experience with DWMX2004 has generally been more positive than with the original DWMX but there are some strange omissions from the CSS "library" such as :focus, :first-child and position:fixed. It also displays font-variant:small-caps as all capital letters.
I recognize that some of these items have poorer support than other CSS properties/values but :focus has pretty good support I thought so I am curious as to why this one has been omitted from the properties.

Aside from Macromedia (as more vendors should really be doing this!), see:

Anyone care to comment or review?

I like this editor. Most editors hide accessibility functions behind many layers of menus - while this editor puts in right in your face. I like that there is a distinction between layout and data tables, the table summaries and image alt text is required and the screen reader feature is pretty neat. I think the best thing they have done is got rid of the font/colour picker.
But this is not a replacement for DW - which is a page layout tool. I think this editor is only for non-technical users to contribute content as part of a CM system.

W3C are actually evaluating tools for web creation, and have a working group at: http://www.w3.org/WAI/AU/2002/tools
