Maybe when stalker.google.com takes off people will begin to take me more seriously. Wink

in true web 2.0 fashion, we should just go ahead and build our own, with AJAX and stuff, aggregating results from google, google maps, flickr, technorati, etc - and if it's cool enough, the BBC will just use it Smile

But how would we ever find out? Wink

Accessibility != Bobby
Reply with quote Well, I seem to be the dirtiest stopout of the lot, having finally got home about 15 minutes ago. Smile

Although, in my defence, I did spend the morning sleeping and the afternoon wandering round Salford Quays taking photos before getting the train.

Good to meet up with everyone and put faces and voices to the names and posts on here, but I'm bloody knackered now.

Next one to be held in London? Wink
Reply with quote It was great to see everyone and to put faces to names (or pseudonyms). I feel my education in heavy rock / metal has just begun, and once my ears stop bleeding I'm going to get hold of some Bon Jovi (or was it Robbie Williams?) and try some more...

I spent Sunday searching for Woolworths. A nice man at the station told me it was actually on platform 9¾ but I still couldn't find it. Makes me think Mr Lauke might have a dark secret he's not sharing with us for fear of ridicule - could that 'H' stand for Hogwarts? Wink

Next meeting at Dan's farm then? Wink

Accessibility != Bobby
Reply with quote I'm going to write a slightly (okay then, very) fictionalised account of the event. I will pm those parties I met with it first to check that they aren't offended before I post it.
Keep your eyes peeled.

Nah, you did a top job, good food, good company, good beer, and music. A minor oversight like arranging to meet at a non-existent location is totally forgiveable. Wink

That'd be just dandy, I'll do a spit-roast if you all make it to Alloa (stop sniggering at the back).

Sorry. Bad habit that, but very difficult to get rid of Laughing
Reply with quote And pending house selling, weddings, stag nights I promise to make the next being it on a farm or in the big smoke.

I might have known it was you. Smut. Wink
Reply with quote Well, I got back to Keighley Train station by 7:00pm and there was a nice ground frost covering (as was to be expected) and finally got home by 8:15pm after a nice frosty 2 km walk up into the Sticks.

First time I've met: Jack, Dan and Pixel; the others I've geeked-out with before this year. Razz

Myself, Dan and Emperor Vigo were contemplating developing a 'pay-per-view chicken-cam' so things are looking good.

Actually the MI5 (BBC) was there at the: "Accessify Winter Conference" checking out Andy Demonstrating the application of Inaccessible Image Mapped Sites. Wink

See: [ http://www.xhtmlcoder.f2s.com/mi5.asf ] 2.5 MB (didn't want hotlinking)

I messed up a little with the stop/start but there is the proof we were running "Accessibility Workshops" and not just talking. Very Happy

I'm sure the staff though we were some form of underground Hacking Group. Rolling Eyes

WVYFC chose the Yorkshire Air Ambulance as the main charity to fund raise for in 2006

I had a faint feeling you didn't have the same mispent youth as the rest of us! You should have stuck around till the true end of the night - three rooms of goth, rock and metal and a beer soaked pool table. That would have helped with the 'education'.

Crying or Very sad Now I'm wishing I'd been there. I could have had a blastaway for old times sake. Twisted Evil whilst looking moody in the corner to the sounds of the Cult.

... and now I'm almost wishing I hadn't left when I had, but it really is bad form to turn up at someone's house post midnight, honking of booze and fags and barely able to hear or speak (talking over loud music for hours + secondhand fag smoke + JD + talking all day = *very* husky voice).

(whereas before midnight (just) is, obviously, totally fine Smile)
