Soho, London
£Excellent Salary

A top 5 UK digital communications agency, Reading Room is growing at the rate of 68% per annum. With offices in London, Manchester and Sydney, our clients include the International Committee of the Red Cross in Geneva, EMAP, and the Bank of England. Accessibility and usability is one of our key strengths, so much so that we have built and maintain the website for the Disability Rights Commission.

Working within an informal, sociable, and dynamic environment, you’ll oversee web development to develop and maintain accessibility and usability (A&U) standards across the company. You’ll produce A&U audits, advise production teams, and create best practice manuals and guidelines.

An expert in coding in CSS and HTML to best practice A&U standards, you’ll have substantial experience in working in a front end web development role. With a strong interest in A&U, new media, and new technologies, you’ll be experienced in sharing knowledge with and developing more junior members of staff. You’ll be a strong team player, with first class communication skills, both written and oral.
